personal-assistant

A private assistant, run by one person for himself.

personal-assistant is a personal project by Andrei Khadiev. It runs on his own server and serves exactly one user: its owner. It is not a product, it is not offered to anyone else, and it has no sign-up.

What it does with Gmail

Once a day it reads the owner's own recent mail, notes the things that will still matter later — bills, deadlines, bookings, changes to his accounts — and keeps those notes so he can ask about them instead of searching his mailbox. It can also draft a reply, which is never sent without the owner confirming the exact text.

It asks Google for two permissions and no others: reading mail, and managing drafts. It cannot delete, label, or otherwise alter the mailbox.
