personal-assistant · last updated 17 September 2026

personal-assistant is a single-user personal project operated by Andrei Khadiev (jawello@gmail.com). The only account it ever connects to is the operator's own. There are no other users, no accounts to create, and no data belonging to anyone else.

What is accessed

With the operator's explicit Google consent, the application requests two scopes and no others:

How it is used

Mail is read to produce short notes of durable facts — dates, commitments, amounts, changes to the operator's own accounts and services — so that the operator can ask the assistant instead of searching his mailbox. Message text is sent to a third-party large-language-model provider for that processing. Senders the operator has excluded are filtered out before anything leaves the server: nothing about those messages, not the body, not the subject, not the sender, is transmitted anywhere.

Where it is stored

Credentials and notes live on the operator's own virtual server, encrypted at rest in the case of credentials. Nothing is published, shared, sold, transferred, or used for advertising, profiling, or training any model.

Retention and removal

Notes are kept until the operator deletes them. Access can be withdrawn at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, after which the application can no longer reach the mailbox.

Limited use

The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
